Review from "The Inside Connection" magazineThe March 2007 issue of "The Inside Connection" magazine included the following in their Winter NAMM Report 2007, written by noted pro bassist, John Montalbano: "One of the classiest instruments at this show was the Long Trail Bass by DeMars Guitars. This is an electric/acoustic bass in the traditional style of an acoustic bass, but the chambered body and the fact that the strings are fed through the body provide a much more stable design. Aside from a typical bridge piezo, there is also one located in the neck joint. The DeMars Bass has a very acoustic sound to it, but it also sounds tight enough to be used in any application. The bass-clef shaped sound hole is icing on the cake. |
